The support from EU structurual funds helps to solve the lasting social and economical problems for EU member countries. Lithuania according to 2004 – 2006 BPD priorities distribute means, which gets from EU. There is trying to represent exactly financial purpose of EU structurual funds, it‘s administration system and tourism‘s development with EU help in this master work. The main purpose of this master work was to make analyse of the tourism programs and projects supported by EU structurual funds in Klaipėda municipality. This master’s paper consists of three parts. First of all this work presents EU regional policy, structurual funds control and support‘s lending systems, which regulate Lithuania Republic law. This work also presents tourism projects administration‘s specific character. According to Lithuania’s 2004-2006 BPD there is separately examine tourism projects, its specific, meetings the selection requirements in the second part of work. Also there is widely examine 3.4 mean “Public tourism infrastructure and facilities”. There is in detail looked in to Klaipėda city municipality‘s tourism priorities and projects. There is made analysis of Klaipėda city municipality‘s activities receiving EU means and analysis of tourism projects realization in Klaipėda city. According to the research results, we can say, that the subjects which take part in tourism project‘s realisation process meet with difficulties such as not enought information, long management of document, weak law system and others. At this moment Klaipėdos municipality‘s administration fulfil the tourism projects which are not strategicals and because of that the city isn‘t attractive to the tourists. The support from EU isn‘t effectively puting in to realisation, especialy the support from Interreg program. There also isn‘t properly taking care of projects public information.
