Šiame darbe analizuojama sąmokslo naratyvų raiška politinėje komunikacijoje, pasitelkiant buvusio Lietuvos Respublikos Seimo nario Dainiaus Kepenio komunikacijos Lietuvos žiniasklaidoje atvejo analizę. Politinėje komunikacijoje plintantys sąmokslo naratyvai prisideda prie alternatyvių politinės realybės interpretacijų formavimo ir institucinio nepasitikėjimo stiprinimo. Tyrimo tikslas – konceptualizuoti sąmokslo naratyvų struktūrą politinėje komunikacijoje ir identifikuoti pagrindinius jų elementus bei funkcijas. Tyrime taikyta mišri tyrimo metodologija, derinanti teorinės literatūros analizę, kiekybinę medijų duomenų analizę ir kokybinę turinio analizę. Kiekybinė ir kokybinė analizė atliktos remiantis „Mediaskopas“ duomenimis 2018–2025 m. laikotarpiu. Kiekybinė analizė apėmė 5003 įrašus, o kokybinei analizei pasirinktos Delfi.lt publikacijos, sudariusios didžiausią tiriamojo laikotarpio publikacijų dalį ir leidusios išvengti besidubliuojančio turinio skirtinguose informacijos sklaidos kanaluose. Literatūros analizės pagrindu suformuotas analitinis modelis leido identifikuoti pagrindinius sąmokslo naratyvų konstrukcinius elementus politinėje komunikacijoje. Tyrimo rezultatai parodė, kad sąmokslo naratyvų elementai Dainiaus Kepenio komunikacijoje pasireiškia fragmentiškai – jie nustatyti 15 iš 78 analizuotų publikacijų. Dažniausiai identifikuoti institucijų delegitimizavimo, emocinės mobilizacijos ir piktavališkų veikėjų konstravimo elementai. Nustatyta, kad šie naratyvai prisideda prie alternatyvių politinės realybės interpretacijų legitimizavimo bei nepasitikėjimo institucijomis stiprinimo.
This thesis examines the manifestation of conspiracy narratives in political communication through a case study of the communication of former Member of the Seimas of the Republic of Lithuania Dainius Kepenis in the Lithuanian media. Conspiracy narratives disseminated through political communication contribute to the formation of alternative interpretations of political reality and strengthen distrust in public institutions. The aim of the study is to conceptualize the structure of conspiracy narratives in political communication and to identify their main elements and functions. The research applies a mixed-methods approach combining theoretical literature analysis, quantitative media data analysis, and qualitative content analysis. Both quantitative and qualitative analyses were conducted using data from the “Mediaskopas” platform covering the period from 2018 to 2025. The quantitative analysis included 5003 records, while publications from Delfi.lt were selected for the qualitative analysis, as they constituted the largest share of publications during the analysed period and allowed the avoidance of duplicated content across different media dissemination channels. Based on the literature analysis, an analytical model was developed to identify the main structural elements of conspiracy narratives in political communication. The findings revealed that elements of conspiracy narratives appeared only fragmentarily in Dainius Kepenis’ communication and were identified in 15 out of 78 analysed publications. The most frequently identified elements included the delegitimization of institutions, emotional mobilization, and the construction of antagonistic actors. The study demonstrated that these narratives contribute to the legitimization of alternative interpretations of political reality and to strengthening distrust in institutions.
