Abstract (lt)
The theme of the information society development is relevant. More and more of Lithuanian people uses the information technologies, gradually entrenches continual learning idea. The aim of this Master’s thesis is to evaluate the development of information society in Lithuania, to analyze legal acts, related with the development of the information society, to analyze information technology using actualities. Information society lineament of Lithuania, its regions and municipalities, information technology development, overview of the legal acts, regulating the development of the information society are analyzed; also suggestions for development of information and knowledge society in Lithuania are given in this Master’s thesis.
