Abstract

The theme of the final work is „Politics of nacional penalty enforcement and it‘s compatibility with international standarts”. The chosen theme is scholarly new and topical for society in our days, because of implementation of legal system reform. This legal system reform inclusive a lot of questions and purposes, which trying to make in force by using Lithuanian Republic and international law standart which regulates Politics of nacional penalty enforcement. The most actual theoretical and practical problems like: preparation of necessary legal basis; organisation of crime prevention and investigation; health care of inmates in correctional facilities; staff management; strengthening public and international relations; social support and psychological help for inmates; implementation of programs on inmates’ reintegration to society; security’s organization in custodial facilities and implementation of non-custodial punishments; the work reviews inmates’ employment and professional preparation are analysed in details in this final work. All these problems needs particularly atention of our public. In the work it have been reviewed significance of punishment theory for punishment enforcement policy, analysed concept of punishment enforcement policy, set up connection between punishment enforcement policy and penal policy. Meanwhile in the process of analysing basis of legal acts it was determined peculiarities of punishment enforcement policy’s trends. Also, basing on opinions of various authors and analysis of legal acts, it was given suggestions on improving of realisation of punishment enforcement policy in Lithuania in practice.
