Tarptautinių baudžiamųjų institucijų veikla žmogaus teisių užtikrinimo srityje

Two World Wars, international and internal armed conflicts, when civil people were killed on a mass scale and there have been committed other felony to humanity, international community established ad hoc tribunals and finally International criminal court (further – ICC). This work is analyzing international criminal institutions and estimating interrupting factor’s of international criminal institutions in proceeding. The features of ad hoc tribunals: temporality, determinate term, vicissitude fluctuation, defaults of professional input. Permanent ICC features: permanence, competency, disposal of experience. ICC is accomplishing now three inquiries – Uganda, Democratic Republic of Congo and Darfur, Sudan. It is stated, that ICC will achieve more positive effects than ad hoc tribunals. ICC is right tool in approaching violated human rights in international conflicts and after them, but practical lack is that court jurisdiction is limited, because not all States are the members of Roman statute. There is a need to pay more attention to validation of Roman statute and to admission of implementing laws, seeking to protect human rights. Final work consists of introduction, three sections; first and second sections are splited to subdivisions, and findings. The end of work submits summary (in English) and list of used literature.
