The thesis analyses the issues of interreationship between different international law branches, and specifically international criminal law and international humantarian law influence on international refugee law and to its protected persons – refugees as well as to persons, who already have brought theirs asylum application, but refugee status is undetermined. The thesis discribes how international humanitarian law norms, regulating relations between states in armed conflicts and regulating treatment of prisiners of war, during international armed conflicts and internal armed conflicts protects refugees as other protected civilian in times of war. Analysing refugee status determination to special category – ex-combatants, persons, evading military servise or fugitive. Establishing conceptions of international criminal acts, regulated in the Article 1 (F) of 1951 Geneva Convention Relating to the Status of Refugees on the grounds of international criminal law resources. In this thesis also touch on the question how measures of fight agaisnt terorism influence exclution clauses contained in the Article 1 (F).
