Abstract

The topic witch is analyzed in this Master degree paper is comparable analysis of the right of innocent passage, the right of transit passage and the freedom of navigation. In this paper the right of innocent passage, the right of transit passage and the freedom of navigation are delimitated in the aspects of marine areas and regimes witch are practiced in these areas, general conditions, vessels of different types, jurisdictions of states concerning vessels. Their main features were compared. Partnership of the Republic of Lithuania in international conventions, concerning the right of innocent passage, the right of transit passage and the freedom of navigation, was examined. High attention was paid to 1958 and 1982 International marine right conventions, witch regulate the right of innocent passage, the right of transit passage and the freedom of navigation, and comparison of regulations was made. Importance and place the right of innocent passage, the right of transit passage and the freedom of navigation among other marine rights was estimated. In the process of globalization it’s geting clear that international organizations witch unite both, coast line countries and those witch don’t have passage to the sea, have major influence on natatorial right regulation. Operating in open sea is also increasingly determinated by different conventions, resolutions, regulations. To reveal the essence and expedience of the right of transit passage and the freedom of navigation political and juridical reasons of maritime right regulations were considered.
