Abstract
This collection of chapters is designed to explore the relationship between ethics and political economy in the light of the recent economic crisis. Some of these chapters were originally presented at the International Society for MacIntyrean Enquiry conference ‘Virtue and Economic Crises’, which took place at Mykolas Romeris University in Vilnius in 2010. The underlying presupposition of the book is that orthodox neoclassical political economy ought to be challenged, theoretically and practically. One way of doing so is through an appropriation of Aristotelian virtue ethics.
