Abstract
The fashion industry is the second most polluting sector worldwide. When analyzing its impact on the planet, the mode of production and consumption called fast fashion is of particular concern, where garments are generated and purchased at an accelerated pace. Generally, these garments have a low level of quality and affordable price, which is often associated with consumers discarding them after using them rarely and quickly replacing them with others. Faced with this current, other phenomena emerge that, beyond being emerging, begin to consolidate, and that defend a responsible mode of production and consumption in terms of sustainability. We are referring to slow fashion and the impact of sustainable fashion influencers.
