Metaloginis lygmuo Jokūbo Ortizo logikos paskaitose: tarp tomizmo ir okamizmo

Straipsnyje aptariamas metaloginis lygmuo, atrandamas Vilniaus universiteto profesoriaus Jokūbo Ortizo logikos kurse, skaitytame šiame universitete 1596 m. Analizuojami esminiai minėtojo lygmens bruožai, apibrėžiama jo vieta bendrajame scholastinės logikos kontekste. Prieinama prie išvados, kad Ortizas dalyvavo disputuose dėl logikos reikšmės ir jos objekto interpretacijoje. Aiškindamas logikos statusą, jis pasirinko XVI–XVIII a. populiarią eklektinę koncepciją. Ji apjungė okamistinę poziciją, laikiusią logiką tam tikra praktinio mokslo rūšimi, ir aristotelinį požiūrį, logiką traktavusį vien kaip bendrąjį scholastinių mokslų instrumentą. Logikos objekto klausimu Ortizas laikėsi tomistinio realizmo pozicijos, logikos objektais pripažinusios realius esinius – tinkamai atliekamus žmogaus intelekto veiksmus, o aiškindamas logikos mokslo kilmę, Ortizas laikėsi tradicinio scholastinio požiūrio, kildinusio logiką iš refleksyvios žmogiškosios patirties.

This article analyzes the metalogical level contained in the lectures on logic delivered at Vilnius University in 1596 by Professor Diego Ortiz. The author of the article focuses on the main characteristics and principal theoretic sources of this level. The article concludes with issues dealing with the status and object of logic. Ortiz entered several scholastic disputes. Namely, he interpreted status of logic on the basis of an eclectic conception which was very popular in the XVI – XVIII centuries. This conception integrated the Occamist position which considered logic to be a certain kind of practical science, and the Aristotelian approach which regarded logic as the common instrument of the scholastic sciences. As for issue of logic’s object, Ortiz was faithful to the standpoint of Thomistic realism which the rendered status of that object to real entities, i.e., operations of human intellect performed in proper way. As regards logic’s origin Ortiz followed the scholastic tradition and derived logic from reflexive human experience.
