Organizations face a complex array of challenges, such as the recent global pandemic, increasing natural disasters due to climate change, ongoing financial crises, and widespread international conflicts. Navigating and functioning effectively amidst such environmental uncertainties is becoming more difficult. In this scenario, both researchers and organizational developers highlight the importance of evaluating the role of human resource management (HRM). Studies have shown psychological resilience during crises to be crucial for organizations to overcome obstacles, gain experience for future challenges, and develop new strengths. This paper adds to the expanding research on HRM's role in organizations operating under uncertain conditions. The paper explores key psychological resilience factors in employees, aiming to help organizations better prepare for and manage crises, thereby improving their sustainability. The study involved literature analysis and a questionnaire survey. The primary finding and practical implication of the study is that psychological resilience is not an innate trait but a skill that can be developed, thus enhancing organizational sustainability.
