Abstract (en)
For the last several years, Serbia and Croatia have been in the process of negotiations toward the settling of all historical disputes and questions, as the part of EU.’s conditions for Serbia to join the Eurobloc in the near future. In other words, Brussels expects both sides to achieve a “historical” deal according to which the past is going to be finally “settled”, i.e., forgotten and forgiven between two nations – the Serbs and the Croats. In the following text, we would like to contribute in this “historical” agreement by lighening one but crucial episode in Croat-Serb relations: Magnum Crimen from the WWII.
