Juristic regulations of patrimonial taxes and problems of their application in the Republic of Lithuania are analysed in this article. Calculation of inheritance taxes, certification of value, rateable value, process of payment, procedures of delivering inheritance certificates both concerning inheritance in the Republic of Lithuania and in foreign states are covered. Importance of these taxes to municipality budget is discussed in this publication.
