On the basis of the Frequency dictionary of modern written Lithuanian and computerized frequency dictionaries of different functional styles, the usage of the most frequent word-forms in the texts of Lithuanian language is being statistically analyzed. The difference in the usage of word-forms and original words is presented and their iterative indexes are being compared. Twenty the most frequently used conjunctions, prepositions and particles in each functional style of Lithuanian language are given. The following conclusions have been drawn: 1. Word-forms are more frequent in texts (16.19 %) than in a dictionary (0.67 %). 2. According to the iterative index, parts of the language fall into two groups: one group includes nouns, adjectives, verbs and adverbs, and the other – prepositions, conjunctions, particles and pronouns. 3. Word-forms in scientific, professional, publicistic and fiction texts respectively comprise 14.11 %, 14.56 %, 1.52 % and 19.30 % of all words used.
