Abstract (en)
Name and surname are the most important elements that identify and individualize a natural person. They are the part of its marital status. Both acts mentioned above have an important influence on the establishment of person’s name and surname. The aim of this article is inter alia to analyze the influence of the new Vital Records Act on the application of the conflict of law rules concerning the surname.
