Abstract (en)
This contribution explores the place of vulnerability concept in the EU asylum legislation and the problematic issues related to its definition and the identification procedures for persons who require special treatment in asylum procedures. It reviews the existing asylum legislation and touches upon the European Commission proposals of 2016 as revised by the EU Migration and Asylum Pact of September 2020.
