Išanalizavus 2001–2003 m. Lietuvos teisės universiteto Teismo medicinos instituto toksikologijos laboratorijoje atliktus teigiamus toksikologinius tyrimus pastebėta, kad jų skaičius kasmet didėjo. Daugėjo tiriamų vyrų, o moterų skaičius praktiškai nepakito. Tiriant mirusių vyrų vidaus organus didžiausias atvejų skaičius per visus trejus metus teko 20–29 m., 30–39 m. ir 40–49 m. amžþiaus grupėms, moterų – 50–59 m. ir 60–69 m. amžiaus grupėms. Vyrų grupėje daugėjo atvejų, kai buvo randama alkoholių, narkotinių medžiagų, amfetaminų o moterų– kai buvo randama medikamentų, narkotinių medžiagų, kitų cheminių medžiagų. Tiriant biologines terpes, p imtas iš gyvų asmenų, didžiausias atvejų skaičius per visus trejus metus teko 0–19 m. amžiaus ir vyrų, ir moterų grupei. Daþžniausiai randama viena medžiaga, rečiau – dvi ir labai retai – trys ir dau giau medžiagų. Tiriant mirusiųjų vidaus organus paaiškėjo, kad vyrų grupėje 0–49 m. amžiaus tarpsniui teko 97,3% atvejų, kai rasta opiatų, o 20–39 m. amžiaus tarpsniui teko 74,33% visų šių atvejų. Moterų grupėje 50% atvejų, kai rasta opiatų, teko 20–29 m. amžiaus grupei.
To have analysed the positive results carried out by the laboratory of toxicology of the Forensic medicine institute of the University of Justice of Lithuania in 2001–2003, it has been noted, that every year those results have been grown. By the analysis of the men, the number of cases has been growing, however, the number of the cases by the women has remained stable. During the whole period of the last three years, by the analysis of the dead interior organs, the most number of cases among the men occured in the age groups of 20–29, 30–39 and 40–49, and among the women in the age groups of 50–59 and 60–69. In the men groups the number has been growing up in cases of founded alcohol, drugs and amphetamines. However, in the women groups, the number has been growing up in cases of founded medicine, drugs and other chemical materials. In the same period, by the analysis of the biological medium to be taken from the live persons in men and women groups, the most number of cases appeared in the age group of 0–19. The most founded has been one material, in rare cases two, and just in few number of cases - three or more materials. By the analysis of the dead interior organs among the men in the age troup of 0–49, for opiates has been founded 97,3%, of cases, but in the age group of 20–39 just 74.33% of all those cases. In the women group 50% of cases have been occured in the age group of 20–29.
