Abstract
According to the sociological research, which was carried out in Marijampole, Sirvinta and Silale districts, the system of values, interests, today's plans future, leisure patterns and cultural activities of Lithuanian youth were indicated. The opinion of elderly people about nowadays youth was of major concern in this study. Evaluation of cultural behaviour of young people is given and the reasons of negative processes in their way of life are described in this article.
