Moral harm is a form of harm that is felt and perceived quite individually by everyone. Given this fact, many articles have already been written that have tried to unify all of the principles and approaches to it. The purpose of this article is to deconstruct the general approaches to moral damage in Ukraine through the prism of history and to compare the path already traveled with the one that has just begun, in the direction of which Ukraine will move in the near future. The scientific value of this article lies in the study of modern approaches to moral damages which have recently emerged in Ukraine. This article clearly shows changes in the approach to the legal understanding of aspects of moral damage that are reflected in practice. This article also shows the use of the same norms in Ukraine with different interpretations at different times.
