Informacinių sistemų įvairovė kuriant e.receptą Lietuvoje
Electronic prescription module creation touches various problematic issues: ranging from data and system security to user-friendliness and create a new system of cost-effectiveness issues. The aim is to assess the regulation of electronic prescription module, comparing various information systems benefits. This research includes 4 information systems for issuing electronic prescriptions and send them to the pharmacy in Lithuania. 3 of them are commercial, and 1 - Lithuanian national health information system. Most of the Lithuanian health care institutions use information systems. A completely developed e-prescription system functioning in the entire state has been implemented only in several European countries and Finland is one of the best examples. E-prescriptions produced in Lithuania constitute only 1.02 percent of all prescriptions in spite of the considerable sum of the 30M euro spent on IT systems. This research has revealed the importance of a balance between an electronic prescription process of brevity, abundance of information and user satisfaction
