Abstract (en)
Basing on different approaches to identify institutional stakeholders, especially these ones with whom an academic institution is likely to contend, a research on Lithuanian state-funded universities’ stakeholders has been developed. The website-based research results show that Lithuanian public universities indicate mostly stakeholders’ groups. There is some little initiative for strengthening cooperation with local community and business. Client-oriented strategy is strongly expressed: a university for current and prospective students. However, there is no clear balance between university’s internal and external stakeholders and what is the stakeholder’s raison d’être.
