The present article is an overview related to dissemination of W. A. Mozart's creative heritage in Lithuania. Concert and theatre practices reflect that a meaningful interpretation of Mozart's works, disclosing the implications encoded by the genius in musical notes, is difficult for performers. This might be the reason why listeners more often hear superficial interpretations of his creation. The article is based on famous scientific works that help to understand the genius of Mozart, at least partially. His artistic and human essence is reflected in the creative heritage. W. A. Mozart's music has a significant position in the repertoire of all Lithuanian quartets and other chamber ensembles. The article embraces favourable evaluations of Mozart interpretations by the violin player E. Paulauskas, the singer J. Stupnianek, as well as the Lithuanian Quartet [...]
