The application of active learning methods that require information literacy and social skills fosters students' creativity. Aim of the study. Analysis of students' perception of creativity and learner capacity to apply information and social skills for enhancement of creative potential. Materials and methods. Theoretical and empirical research into learners' information literacy (IL) and social competencies and attitude to creativity Information literacy is a set of abilities to locate, evaluate, and use effectively the needed information. Results. Results indicate the lack of learners' information literacy competencies. The majority of students consider creativity to be a driving force that enhances learning. Conclusion. Information and social competencies are important for development of creativity in learning.
