Before beginning their operations, all banks must have an understanding of their mission. That is, they must decide to which consumer needs they will focus their efforts. This decision in turn affects the way in which the organizational structure is formed The largest banks in Lithuania are comparable to small and medium sized foreign banks, thus, they should orient themselves to such foreign banks. It should be noted that the organizational structures of many Lithuanian banks change constantly. The changes are due to shifts in customer needs, automation level, and other similar factors.
