Dėl Ukrainoje tebesitęsiančio karo buvo okupuotos didelės šalies teritorijos dalys, todėl šiose srityse pablogėjo žmogaus teisių sąlygos. Šiame tyrime nagrinėjama žmogaus teisių padėtis okupuotose Ukrainos teritorijose, daugiausia dėmesio skiriant civilių gyventojų patirčiai ir tarptautinių organizacijų veiklai sprendžiant žmogaus teisių pažeidimus. Darbe pabrėžiami paplitę pagrin- dinių žmogaus teisių pažeidimai, įskaitant savavališką sulaikymą, kankinimą, netinkamą elgesį, neteisminius nužudymus, priverstinius dingimus ir saviraiškos, susirinkimų ir asociacijų laisvės apribojimus. Tyrime taip pat nagrinėjamas tarptautinių organizacijų, tokių kaip Jungtinių Tautų vyriausiojo žmogaus teisių komisaro biuro (OHCHR), Europos saugumo ir bendradarbiavimo organizacijos (ESBO) ir Europos Tarybos vaidmuo stebint žmogaus teises, teikiant humanita- rinę pagalbą ir pritariant civilių apsaugai. Pabrėžtina, kad reikia skubiai išspręsti konfliktą ir apsaugoti žmogaus teises visose Ukrainos dalyse.
The ongoing war in Ukraine has resulted in the occupation of significant parts of the country’s territory, leading to the deterioration of human rights in these areas. This research examines the human rights situation in the occupied territories of Ukraine, focusing on the experiences of civilians and the activities of international organizations in addressing human rights violations. It highlights the widespread violations of fundamental human rights, including arbitrary detention, torture, ill-treatment, extrajudicial killings, enforced disappearances, and restrictions on freedom of expression, assembly, and association. The research also explores the role of international organizations, such as the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), and the Council of Europe, in monitoring the human rights situation, providing humanitarian assistance, and advocating for the protection of civilians. It concludes by emphasizing the urgent need for a solution to the conflict and the protection of human rights in all parts of Ukraine.
