Privatization is popular and growing over the world for pragmatic reasons. When implemented sensibly It leads to greater effieciency and beetter economic results. Numerous convincing studies of competitive contracting and divestment provide an overwhelming and unambiguous evidence as to the effectiveness of privatization. Every state-owned enterprise is different and works under a different regime in each country. This would appear to make it harder to draw compelling conclussins about conducted divestments. The results of privatization in differnet states show the effectiveness of this process. There is a detail description of economic measures before and after privatization. All of them have increased after privatization.
