The model of a social-educational help team at school is eclectic - it features peculiarities of self-help, task solving as well as problem solving teams. The activities of such a team are delineated by time, place and activity mode. The chosen team members are those who wish to perform activities (i.e. class masters), have specific skills and relevant knowledge (i. e. social educators, speech therapists, special educators and psychologists) as well as those whose jobs can be directly impacted (i. e. administrative staff). The article is also an overview of the experience gained through pedagogical experiments of 2000-2002 by the social-educational team working at Baltupiai School in Vilnius City. The experiment carried out resulted in sketching a model of social-educational help on the basis of experience gained by 30 social educators whose job was introduced at schools in 2000 and 2001 and who applied the team-vork method, interviews and analysis of other institutions' activities in their jobs.
