During the past few decades, many researchers have been advocated designing multimedia instruction materials in order to enhance learning effectiveness. . The aim of the paper is to determine the popularity of e-books among university students and describe how students perceive the effectiveness of e-textbook (electronic textbook) of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) at tertiary level. The participants are of two different specializations and study ESP at Mykolas Romeris University in Kaunas. The learner’s responses to the statements of a specially designed questionnaire have been analyzed after 16 weeks of teaching/learning. The results demonstrate that students accord high importance to obtaining knowledge and resources through teaching/learning using e-textbook. This indicates that students’ attitude towards e-textbook is positive. Finally, some suggestions from the results are also offered in this study.
