This article examines a rather neglected problem concerning the origins of totalitarian consciousness, on the one hand, and its overcoming, on the other. This article is organized into two parts. In Part One we cover some definition of the concept of totalitarian consciousness. This consciousness comes of the unsatisfied basic social requirements of a person. For example, a human requirement of security takes him to timeserving. In part Two we describe the nature of a personality who can overcome the totalitarian society and monistic thought. The key question is: what kind of people can withstand the thought of "crowd". Only intelligentsia can slove this problem. The concept of intelligence is complex and difficult to define. The basis of intelligence is a high level of development. Intelligent is always prepared to responsibility; his first trait is spiritual strength. Therefore the general task of intelligentsia is to stand up to the totalitarian consciousness.
