The aim of the survey is to learn more about factors and causes of bad school attendance, dropping out from school and grade repeating and assess readiness of the school to tackle and prevent these problems from the stand point of teachers' opinions, knowledge and perceptions. 1,034 teachers have been interviewed during the survey. Most often school-related problems mentioned by the teachers were: weak motivation to study among pupils, pupils often do not prepare homework and many pupils are from poor families. Less often mentioned problems are: pupils abuse drugs, teenage pregnancy, dropping out from school. Although, teachers do not think that dropping out from school is an acute problem.
