Today, the necessary condition for the competitiveness of higher educational institutions in the market of educational services is the availability of a single information space (SIS) and the introduction of information technology in all business processes. The role of a single information space in a university complex is determined by the scale of the tasks to be solved and the rates of development of the university. In today’s conditions, there is a need to form a single information space of the university. The SIS should maximize the information requests of students, faculty, staff; have flexible mechanisms for introducing new technologies into education; to satisfy modern demands of democracy, economy, reliability. The article proposes the idea of building a unified information space of the university, which includes the system of electronic control.
