Abstract (en)
Estonia was first country from the Baltic States which finished a pension system reform in 2002. Lithuania strated its second pillar pension system just in 2004. Analysing private pension funds of Estonia and Latvia can be shown that the level of assets in the second pillar is higher than in the third one. The same situation is in Lithuania. Estonian pension funds are the most oriented to its own security market. The porrfolio of Estonian funds is more diversificated comparing to Lithunian and Latvian pension funds.
