Abstract (en)
Aim of the article is to recognize the process of saving formation of Lithuanian population, to reveal importance of population savings to Lithuanian economy. In pursuance of the aim it is attempted to present Lithuanian population saving patterns in the article; to analyze factors influencing saving process; to reveal population saving prime reasons and motives; to analyze structure and dynamics of population savings (type and form) New direction in the article is an attempt to explicate differences of men and women behavior, that influences common population saving and investment process.
