Although earlier research has established that employee’s experience at work can improve the family life and vice versa, the construct of work-family enrichment received comparatively little attention. Similarly, its relationship with a critical outcome such as employee task performance has not been clearly revealed. Meanwhile simultaneously managing work and family responsibilities while working remotely due to the COVID-19 lockdown has become a challenging practical and scientific issue. Trying to narrow the gap, the paper aims at revealing the linkage between work-family enrichment (including both directions of enrichment) and employee task performance while working remotely during the COVID-19 lockdown. In doing this, quantitative data were collected in Lithuania (166 responses). The results supported the idea that family to work enrichment and work to family enrichment positively impacted employee task performance while working remotely. The paper has strong practical implications seeing that the results are in line with idea that organisations should implement practices for enhancing employee work-family enrichment, which leads to higher task performance.
