Abstract
Everyone has rights to equal rights and possibilities, there is no differences what his social, financial or health situation is. Also I mean and disabled people, as children so adults. There are a lot of disabled people in Lithuania who do not want to sit at home, they want to lead an active life. These disabled people should get special education because of their special needs. Most young people with phyical disabilities, in spite of all difficulties, want to lead an active life, to develop their skills as every person do. As technology is rapidly developing, the information they got at schools or other institutions is not enoughfor them. In this case the most suitable and popular form of education is nonformal adult education. This form of education helps to develop cultural education, person‘s proffesional qualification, creativeness. Nonformal adult education is cultural and rehabilitating education of disabled people. Nonformal education is more flexible than formal and is more suitable for disabled people‘s needs and possibilities. The results of research have showed that most disabled people do not develop their skills and this is not their fault. They have difficulties in getting around, so they need specially adopted environment. Most of disabled people have secondary education and have computer skills. However, there is lack of knowledge and habits which they could get from nonformal education. If they got a chance to study nonformally, they would chose distant studies, as this form of education is the most suitable for disabled people‘s needs. Disabled people believe in better future and think that nonformal education is good for people with physical disabilities.
