Perdegimo sindromas ir jo įveikos strategijos socialinio darbuotojo profesinėje veikloje

Abstract

Magistrinio darbo tema aktuali, nes šiandieninėj globalioje aplinkoje, perdegimo sindromą patiria dažniausiai darbuotojai, kurie dirba aptarnavimo srityje, kur reikalaujama dažno ir artimo kontakto su įvairios populiacijos (vaikais, neįgaliais, senyvo amžiaus) žmonėmis. Socialiniai darbuotojai susiduria su perdegimo rizika atsižvelgiant į kintančią darbo aplinką, kuriai būdinti didėjantys darbo krūviai. Akcentuotina, kad socialiniams darbuotojams dėl sprendžiamų profesinėje veikloje iškylančių dileminių klausimų bei padidėjusios atsakomybės susijusios su sprendimų priėmimu šioje srityje, darbas tampa įtemptas ir keliantis didelį stresą. Profesinis perdegimas – tai ligai trunkanti asmens reakcija į nuolatinius emocinius ir tarpasmeninius stresorius darbinėje veikloje. Perdegimo įveikos darbe prevencijos ir mažinimo priemonės socialinių darbuotojų veikloje tampa svarbios, siekiant sumažinti perdegimo simptomų, tokių kaipo emocinių, psichologinių ir kitų sveikos problemų atsiradimą darbe. Darbo tikslas –išanalizuoti perdegimo sindromo įveikos strategijas socialinio darbuotojo profesinėje veikloje.

The topic of this thesis is relevant because nowadays in global environment, employees who work in the service sector mostly experience burnout syndrome. The workers are obliged to have a frequent and close contact with people from different populations (ex. children, the disabled, the elderly). Social workers face the risk of the burnout when changing the work environment, which is usually made by increasing workloads. More importantly, the work of social workers become highly stressful due to the dilemma issues arising from the professional activity, the internal and external conflicts and increased responsibilities related to decision-making in this field. Occupational burnout is affirmed when a person is constantly reacting to emotional and interpersonal stressors at work. In order to prevent and reduce the caused burnout such as emotional, psychological or any other health related problems at work, it is important to find proper techniques. The main goal is to analyze the strategies that would help in overcoming the burnout syndrome in the professional activity of a social worker.
