Akcnowledging that commercial transactions are coordinated by law, contractual and non-contractual means forces to look at contracts from different perspective. Law as expectation stabilization system is not the only one. Expectations can be stabilized by other systems like contract itself and non-contractual means. Majority of scholars claim that non-contractual means in coordination of transactions prevail however the empirical data on which the argument is based is gathered in a nation state. If we look to international commercial relations where commercial parties operate under the different national legislation, different bussines culture and are bound to specific usages and customs we will see that totally different factors influencing the coordination of international commercial relations exist. Thus for analysis of international commercial relations there will be a need explore different factors that stabilize or destabilize commercial relations.
