The purpose of this final paper is to analyze organization of personnel assessment in Marijampole municipality. This graduation dissertation is based on these analysis methods –analysis, documentary analysis, generalization and questionnaire research. It is emphasized in the work, that an efficient assessment is useful not only for employees but for the chiefs and organization also. After analysis of personnel assessment in Marijampole municipality, there was get results that helped to reveal topical problems in this exploratory field. It was discovered that assessment of civil service work is prosecuted according all laws, but seeking more impartial and more effective assessment, colleague assessment, self-assessment and conversation of service work assessment (twice a year) is recommended to be introduced in this organization.
