Abstract
In this work is produced the assesment of the impacts on the transport sector of integration in to the EU. The implementation of EU legislation, technical requirements and acces to the proffesion may reduce operators,competitiveness. Longer transitional period is identified to comply EU requirements. The eventual benefits will be reliant on the introduction of effective open market providing free competition, high quality and level of service, safety.
