The Master Thesis is about self-employed and the education sistem of these persons of labour law in Lithuania. We can see through all the work activity of industrial unions in the pending field and the possibilities of these public persons, because there are not much of such activity – there are described possible steps for the industrial unions to solve the actual problem. Author delineated the conceptions of the words used in the title of the Master Thesys. It is very important to know the borders of the concept and their meaning so you could be precise about all the information that surrounds these notions. The most important conception of the self-employed author described as all the persons who are working without working agreements and businessmen who own some entities. There were depicted conveyance and consulting of employees working by working agreements. The codification started after the First World War – so this range is very comprehensive and there are lot self-employed persons can learn about their conveyance about labor law. In this section are separately described legal acts of European Union, World Trade Organization and in Lithuanian legislation. The input of one of three biggest national industrial unions in the education of self-employed persons there were analysed too. Lithuanian Labor Federation is the only one organization which has organized seminars for self-employed people - for farmers. So the input of the industrial unions to education of self-employers is very little close to zero. There for author describes the situation of this education briefly and spares more attention to the possibilities of industrial unions in the pending theme. The list of legal persons who won the competition to have European Union support to educate people working in agriculture is concluded. In the supplied list there is not mentioned any industrial union – that is also one more reason why the author decided to show this list – so the industrial unions have lot of possibilities.
