In this work the relationship of voluntary and obligatory insurance of a civil liability of owners of vehicles is analyzed, and also, what place these kinds of insurance hold in system of insurance. In the legal literature the due attention is not paid to a theme of voluntary and obligatory insurance of a civil liability of owners of vehicles and the relevance and difficulty of the given work consists in this.
