Abstract

After having analysed the sources it is possible to state that the attitude towards a newborn baby is essentially different from that to older children, and that fact has its impact on their health care. The situation complicates much more in case the baby is prematurely born. Such babies are attributed to even lower moral category. The sudden transformation from life in the womb to external world has not only moral, but also legal importance.[...].
