Kontrowersje kultury współpracy a nauczanie komunikacji społecznej studentów wyższej uczelni

The article deals with two problems: controversity of the culture of cooperation in the societies of new democracies and how it influences higher education. Transiting processes which took place in Central and Eastern Europe gave arise controversity in public as well as private life and professional activities. The culture of cooperation has been weakened, people and social groups struggled intensively for properties, social status, for influences in public life. The universities and higher education generally show the lack of concern over these issues. Actually they are not prepared to meet challenges of global communication, to provide the students with die positive philosophy of cooperation in the global networks, with the strategies of problem solving and conflict resolution. The authors share some reflections on how to cover these gaps by including in the colleges and universities professional communication, conflict and other studies.
