Abstract (en)
The article deals with the perception of the phenomenon of the insecurity situations. The analysis is based on the use of sociological research of the youth in Vilnius and Kaunas. The material is presented as the notformalized meanings of security- insecurity states. That way of the presentation of the research is characteristic to the existential sociology. The main types of the security- insecurity states and feelings are: psychological, physical, economical. Private space is estimated as more safe than social space.
