The paper is based on reflection on personal experience of a teacher in higher education, including most recent experiences under the pressure of the pandemic. Therefore the purpose of the paper was to share personal individual insights into higher education teacher’s experiences during the sudden shift to distance/on-line studies during the Covid pandemic. Method of sharing and discussing personal individual experience, insights and conceptualization based on the framework of the phases of knowing/learning, suggested by Baxter Magolda (1992) was used. The conceptualization enabled formulation of several statements that may serve as interim conclusions, which are shared in the conclusions segments, however, the statements remain to be validated by peer input and insights.
