Sustainable connectivity through inclusive partnerships, shared vision and goals which place individuals at the centre of society, at the regional, national and local levels will result into ‘sustainable connections’ that foster deeper economic and people-to-people ties. Research indicates that the synergy existing between connectivity and sustainability, which are formed through mutually reinforcing the higher values of both- in a simultaneous manner, ensures that ‘connected countries and regions’ achieve social sustainability within the shortterm. Moreover, sustainable connectivity has the potential to bridge gaps existing between countries, generate best practices in education through the establishment of institutional connectivity that are unique and diverse, as well as stronger social, economic, environmental and financial sustainability pillars in Asian and European societies. Regionally, a unified Asian Community is one that exemplifies this and should be the foundation towards achieving improved quality of life, access to inclusive education and continuity in the creation of innovative solutions for the region’s greatest challenges for all individuals.
