The book is dedicated to analysis of creations of Bruce Meyer, a contemporary prolific Canadian poet. It discloses different edges of the poet‘s personality, insights into his literary influences. The versification, stylistic and rhetorical singularities and subjects of B. Meyer’s books are meticulously investigated in order to glean some constant topics. Finally, three of the forty-four books that the author has recently published are explored - The Obsession Book of Timbuktu (2013), The Seasons (2014), Testing the Elements (2014). The poet's modus operandi is revealed: he casually relates the most elevated concepts and, conversely, poeticizes routine, mundane details with a sublime touch, carefully picking out the messages which the landscape and the elements bring to mind.
