The article considers the problem of the connection of learners' autonomy and development of creativity in teaching/learning languages for specific purposes (LSP). The aim of study. The article focuses on the role of project-based case study method to enhance students' self-expression and develop creative thinking skills. Materials and methods. Theoretical and empirical methods. Results. The connection between students' creativity, successful language learning and epistemic motivation and some techniques of fostering creativity in I.SP studies are revealed and the results analyzed. Conclusions. There exists a connection between students' creativity, successful language learning and epistemic motivation.
