Abstract (en)
The article presents the analysis of the importance of the correlation between language and law on the ESP (English for Specific Purposes) learning. It deals with the role of the knowledge of legal content in the legal language study. The case analysis which is described in the article leads to a conclusion that study participants conceive legal content as very important for successful learning of professional English. The findings show that content-based language instruction seems to be the appropriate approach to legal language learning. Finally, some recommendation from the results is offered in this study.
