Abstract (en)
Police is the main law enforcement institution rendering services to citizens. Police administration gave opportunity for the term "new law enforcement policy" to come into use. The policy means "communal police activity". The authors come to the conclusion that administrative changes, modernization of the public sector and implementation of "new public management" in Europe stipulate the rise of a new law enforcement policy and the urgency of the concept "legal state".
